160 students from Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Ukraine, and Russia have joined the School, with a diverse group of 41% women and 59% men.

The top schools with the most students admitted to SSE Riga’s Bachelor Class of 2027 are: Rīgas Valsts 1. ģimnāzija with 31 students, Āgenskalna Valsts ģimnāzija with 11 students, Rīgas Valsts 3. ģimnāzija with 9 students, Rīgas Valsts 2. ģimnāzija with 8 students. We also want to acknowledge regional schools for their outstanding preparation of students for SSE Riga, including those from very small schools and institutions with specialized focuses, such as culture and music.

The day began with a warm welcome from the Student Association’s presidential couple, Filips Andrejevs and Andreas Kepp, Rector Anders Paalzow, and Alumni Association President Arta Beitāne. Students received essential information about the Library, IT services, SSE Business Lab Riga, and the study process. One of SSE Riga’s unique strengths is its relatively small student body, which fosters close interaction with both staff and faculty, creating a special and personalized educational experience in the three-year Bachelor programme.

Later, each student had the opportunity to visit the Rector’s office, share their first impressions, and sign SSE Riga’s special student book, marking the beginning of their journey at SSE Riga.

On behalf of the SSE Riga family, we would like to wish the Class of 2027 a journey filled with growth and discovery!
