BICEPS
The Baltic International Centre for Economic Policy Studies (BICEPS) is an independent research centre located in Riga, Latvia. BICEPS is part of the FREE Network, an integrated network of research centres and universities in the region with partners in Sweden, Belarus, Georgia, Poland, Russia and Ukraine.
BICEPS aim is to undertake and promote high quality policy-oriented research in economics and other social sciences and to provide informed advice and consulting services for both government and business in the Baltic states and elsewhere.
Baltic Journal of Economics (BJE)
The Baltic Journal of Economics (BJE) is a refereed scientific journal in economics. It is published jointly by SSE Riga and BICEPS in cooperation with Routledge.
BJE disseminates high-quality original and innovative papers within a broad range of economic disciplines. It publishes research of general interest, but especially welcomes articles relevant for the Baltic region. Authors are invited to submit theoretical and empirical papers including manuscripts focused on economic policy analysis.
SSE Riga / BICEPS Occasional Papers
SSE Riga/BICEPS Occasional Papers series focuses on policy oriented research.
Submissions from authors affiliated with institutions located in the Baltic states, researchers visiting Baltic states and PhD students are especially encouraged. We also welcome policy oriented reports written within EU funded projects.

Collaboration
BICEPS has an especially close collaboration with SSE Riga – Anders Paalzow, the Rector of SSE Riga, is a chairman of BICEPS and some of the BICEPS researchers are also lecturers at the School.
