Due to the pandemic, the accreditation process has been extended and the documentation on accreditation will be finalized in Spring 2021. The accreditation guarantees that upon completion of SSE Riga study programs, students are awarded a diploma recognized by Latvia’s Ministry of Education and Science.

Onsite visits by external experts took place in Autumn 2020, when experts admitted that SSE Riga’s strategic development is exceptionally good and meets the needs and development trends of society and the national economy.

The international experts have described the SSE Riga Bachelor programme as top-level education at an affordable price.

Highly skilled international teaching staff, well-equipped premises and library, broad choice and granted access to scientific and professional databases, good balance between theory and practice in study courses, student-centered approach, mentoring opportunities as well as result-oriented quality assurance system - these are only a few of the positive aspects that have been noted in the experts' evaluation report.

Being bound by a licence agreement with SSE in Stockholm further contributes to quality of study content while the applicant selection process ensures high quality and demanding students.

The accreditation commission stressed that SSE Riga enjoys highly effective cooperation with graduates and employers. Experts also noted the high satisfaction rate among Bachelor and Executive MBA students, adding that, despite its small size, SSE Riga possesses strong research potential as all core faculty undertake research work.
