Bachelor Programme

A total of 102 individuals successfully attained their Bachelor's Diplomas in 2023, while an enthusiastic cohort of 156 new students embarked on their Bachelor programme studies in August. This year, we welcomed new students representing 9 different countries: Belarus, Estonia, Georgia, Lithuania, Latvia, Portugal, Russia, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan, forming the Class of 2026. 

In the Fall 2023 semester, we greeted 30 students hailing from 7 different countries, enriching our classrooms with diverse perspectives and experiences. Simultaneously, 37 SSE Riga students embarked on exchange programmes aborad.

Meanwhile, 350 students continued their academic journey in the three-year Bachelor programme.

This year witnessed a significant expansion of our curriculum, marked by the addition of several exciting new courses and electives. Our focus on data and artificial intelligence has been particularly emphasized, enriching the overall educational experience for our Bachelor students.
 

Executive MBA Programme

23 students proudly received EMBA diplomas in 2023, symbolizing advanced proficiency in business studies.

The EMBA programme showcased a promising influx of talent. 24 new EMBA students started their studies in September, and 27 individuals continued their journey in this two-year programme.

The EMBA newest cohort boasts an average age of 37, bringing with them an impressive nine years of management experience. Sixty-two percent of these professionals currently hold C-level positions, enhancing the classroom experience with their wealth of expertise.

Beyond the fundamental curriculum, students opt for elective courses at SSE Sweden or other renowned business schools globally during GNAM week. Moreover, they engage in practical field experience within established companies in the Baltic states and undergo an international business module in Asia.
 

Executive Education

Our commitment to professional development and corporate training remained unwavering in 2023. Over 400 executives actively participated in our open courses and programmes, augmenting their knowledge and contributing to their professional growth.

A heartfelt appreciation goes out to our partners, including Accenture, LMT, Swedbank, State Real Estate Agency, Playtech, Dyninno, Evolution, Bonava, and The State Audit Office. Custom programmes engaged 600 employees, fostering a culture of continuous learning within these dynamic workplaces.

Adding to our achievements, we successfully launched two new programmes: the Effective Manager Programme and the Advanced Management Programme, in addition to shorter courses.

We are thrilled to introduce two new programmes in 2024: Sales & Marketing and Technology & AI for Executives, further enhancing our open programme portfolio.
