Professor Arnis Sauka has contributed to a book entitled “Handbook against disinformation: recognize and oppose”
In preparation for the Global Media and Information Literacy Week, the State Chancery has published in a digital format a book entitled “Handbook against disinformation: recognize and oppose” (Rokasgrāmata pret dezinformāciju: atpazīt un pretoties).
Ten authors from the Chancery and five universities collaborated in the making of the book. SSE Riga Professor Arnis Sauka was one of the authors who contributed to the book.
The manual summarizes practical recommendations for State administration and local government workers, as well as all Latvian residents, to address manipulation in the information room, including disinformation.
The manual is an encouragement to move towards the goal that any resident of Latvia is able to resist the disinformation of the Kremlin and other players.
