Presentation & Discussion by OECD Representatives

This event will feature the presentation of the new Economic Survey of Latvia 2024 by Robert Grundke and Enes Sunel from the OECD Latvia Desk. The presentation will focus on:

• Strengthening public finances and improving the capacity of the public administration
• Improving access to finance (including by strengthening competition in the banking sector and deepening capital markets)
• Improving business dynamism and innovation by focusing on informality, competition, state-owned enterprises, and skilled labor shortages.

The presentation will be followed by a discussion moderated by SSE Riga Associate Professor Dominik Gerber.
