The ceremony featured speeches from SSE Riga Rector Anders Paalzow, Programme Director Kate Priede-Trauberga, and Sapna Advani, Course Director for the Asia Study Module. Their addresses underscored the educational mission of SSE Riga and global perspective of the Executive MBA programme.

Rector Anders Paalzow eloquently described the transformation that takes place during the programme: when students join, they are typically "thin and deep" – highly skilled experts in specific professional roles, fields, or industries. The programme aims to enhance their expertise, maximize their potential, and broaden their competencies through both the curriculum and the vibrant student network.

Rector Anders Paalzow and Programme Director Kate Priede-Trauberga presented diplomas to the graduates, who also received letters they had written to their future selves on their first day. We hope that their expectations for their time at SSE Riga and in the Executive MBA programme have been fulfilled, whether through acquiring new knowledge and recalibrating focus, finding inspiration, or gaining a professional boost.

Special recognitions included the Best Thesis Award, announced by Professor Zane Vārpiņa, which was awarded to Jānis Zaļums and Mārtiņš Dimants for their thesis on the influence of personality attributes on the success of dairy farms in Latvia. This exceptional work was supervised by lecturer Inga Gleizdāne.

Additionally, the winners of the business plan contest from the international module in Singapore were recognized by Sapna Masih Advani.

The ceremony concluded with a reception attended by families and friends, celebrating the achievements of the graduates. We are immensely proud of our 25 new Executive MBA graduates and look forward to their future accomplishments.
