Executive MBA students embark on insightful International Immersion trip to Singapore
In early May, our Executive MBA students embarked on an enriching International Immersion trip to Singapore, diving deep into the Asian innovation landscape and entrepreneurial environment.
Hosted by the prestigious Nanyang Business School, students engaged in enlightening sessions that included Singapore’s transformation story with Associate Professor Tan Joo Seng, Marketing Strategies for Asian Consumer Markets with Associate Professor Lewis Lim, and Digital Transformation in Asia with Professor Vijay Sethi.
The trip also featured visits to local companies, where students interacted with executives, thought leaders, and future-shapers. They experienced the vibrant local culture through a variety of cultural activities, gaining a profound understanding of the South East Asia region and Singapore’s remarkable success story. The immersive experience provided students with valuable insights into the local business and entrepreneurial environment, highlighting effective strategic approaches in the region.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Lars Nordlom, Managing Director South East Asia at Wacker Chemicals, Vladislavs Grekis and Liva Paudere from DBS Bank, James Chan, Founder and CEO of ION Mobility, Silke Weber, VP Operations APAC Orange Business, and Dominic Chan, Chief Information Officer of Singapore Government Technology Agency (GovTech) for their exceptional hospitality.
In addition, over 20 speakers contributed to the program content, and we deeply appreciate Course Director Sapna Advani for organizing such an insightful agenda. This event is indeed one of the highlights of the two-year Executive MBA programme.
