BSc Programme: Instruction will be online until February 28
If there is any consistency to COVID-19, it is its unpredictability. The Spring semester began with lectures on site, but due to an increased risk of outburst of Omicron variant among students, it has been decided to switch to online mode.
“The current epidemiological situation requires caution and as we all know from our past efforts, we benefit when we are proactive,” says Rector Anders Paalzow.
In order to limit the spread of the Covid-19 Omicron variant, all study activities of the BSc Programme will be organized in a remote format, except for examinations, in the time period from January 24 until February 28 as per the guidelines of the Ministry of Education.
However, the School will be open for the BSc programme students for individual studies in an epidemiologically safe environment.
The SSE Riga student community has been resilient, even during the most challenging of times. Let us continue to support and care for one another.
Once the epidemiological situation becomes better, it is planned to return to on-site lectures and seminars.
