About the speakers:
Edgars Kalns is a leading expert in Conversational and Generative AI with over 20 years of experience in Silicon Valley, currently serving as a Specialist Leader at Deloitte Consulting. He designs advanced AI solutions for life sciences and healthcare clients, drawing from his senior technical roles at SRI International, [24]7.ai, and Nuance Communications. With seven patents and a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Edgars has successfully transitioned numerous AI prototypes to market, impacting millions of daily customer interactions.
Edvins Elferts brings over a decade of international experience in technology solutions and consulting, with a focus on AI, smart automation, business intelligence, and low-code software, primarily for clients in the Nordic and Baltic regions. Previously serving as Head of Data, AI, and Emerging Tech at KPMG Lighthouse in Sweden, Latvia, and Lithuania, he is now a Partner at Mitigate AI Services, where he helps clients solve business challenges through automation and AI. He is also a frequent guest lecturer at SSE Riga and Hanken & SSE Executive Education.
Nikolay Sekachev is a business transformation consultant who helps companies implement AI solutions effectively. His diverse background includes studies in astrophysics, an MBA in Finance, and a Law degree, allowing him to understand both technical and business aspects of AI implementation. With over 25 years of entrepreneurial experience, Nikolay has conducted numerous open and corporate seminars about AI across Estonia and Latvia, helping hundreds of leaders understand and integrate AI technologies into their daily operations. His practical approach focuses on bridging the gap between complex AI capabilities and real business needs. He has served as a lecturer on AI for business leaders at the eMBA programs of SSE Riga and Hanken & SSE Executive Education.
